ParanormalPopCulture: Ryan Buell of 'Paranormal State' comes out in new ...

Hey Everyone!

I stumbled upon this article while enjoying my morning coffee. I think it is awesome that Ryan Buell of Paranormal State came out to the public regarding his sexual orientation via his soon to be released book. Nearing 2011 this shouldn't even matter! I'm sure some people might have mixed reactions to this announcement, or think this could be way to sell more copies of his book. I've even read that some people question if this will have a negative effect on the the shows ratings. I wanted to pose a question to you all. Do you think this sort of publicity takes away credibility from the scientific community? Do you think all paranormal shows will just be lumped into the "reality series" pile?

Best,

Introduction

Welcome to the official blog of Pittsburgh Paranormal Research (P.P.R.) Founded in February 2010 by Scott Delledonne and Jeff Gettman. We are a group of paranormal investigators located in the Pittsburgh area. PPR is a non-profit organization dedicated to the scientific investigation of ghosts, classic hauntings, poltergeists and other paranormal phenomena. We also provide education and assistance to people who have encountered a spirit, ghost or other unexplained phenomenon.

One of the founding principles that PPR was created upon is trying to offer peace of mind to those that are experiencing something they cannot explain. Often times there are logical explanations for the seemingly unexplainable things that can occur in a residence or business. PPR begins all investigations with a careful degree of skepticism. Only after the scientific examination of the reported claims will we deem a location as having paranormal activity. One way to accomplish this is by using the latest technology to either prove or “debunk” activity. PPR uses a wide variety of the latest technology to assist in this process.

Pittsburgh Paranormal Research is here to help, and our services are always free of charge. Our mission is to help others understand what is going on in their homes and businesses, as well as further our knowledge of the paranormal. Your confidentiality is always guaranteed.
